Job responsibilities :
You will be responsible for cash receipt application to worldwide customers under respective Operating Units using Oracle, and for worldwide credit/debit memos as assigned. This includes interaction and communication with the Credit Control Department, ensuring remits are received timely and accurately; as well as being involved in preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and GST schedules. You will also support the manager and worldwide revenue team in audit queries and worldwide projects; as well as assist with other ad-hoc tasks, and participate in new projects and initiatives as required.
Job requirements :
You should have a relevant Accounting, Finance or Business Degree such as Bachelor of Accountancy with 2-3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a multinational environment. Excellent knowledge of Oracle 11i and Receivables modules, and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills is desirable; whilst exposure to GST is an advantage. You should also have good analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written); as well as ability to work under pressure, meet strict reporting deadlines and work as a team in a collaborative approach. In addition, you should be a self-starter who is able to act on your own initiative and manage multiple priorities; detailoriented; and willing to learn, with ability to progress and rotate into other roles.
