Summary for POL-ITE participants

This Friday 21 Jan 11 we will wear track pants and t-shirt for training. No shorts and bermudas is allowed. For those who didn't participate in the competition can either wear full gi or half gi.

E-mail:
I have sent an e-mail to all the POL-ITE participants. The e-mail should consist the competition schedule, summary of weight and competition sequence. Through this e-mail, the sparring players should be aware of the weight they need to gain, lose or maintain. And also, do take note of your individual bout number. The bout number listed in the document will be your call out number for the match that day.

As for poomsae, take note of the individual sequence for your poomsae event.

Body padding:
Remember to borrow body padding from our club this Friday. The size of the padding should follow according to the table listed under "summarized notes and details".

Excuse letter:
Those who need excuse letter on Saturday or Sunday please inform Ee Feng by today.

Summarized notes and details:

Poomsae:-

  1. You have to put on the belt colour of the pattern you're performing.
  2. Colour tip have to be removed for this competition.
  3. Hair must be neatly groomed.
  4. Remember to iron your uniform and get a coat cover for it.
  5. Bring along student admission card.

Sparring:-

Weigh in and rules:
  1. Only light T-shirt/singlet, shorts and gi pants are allowed during weighing in (One time weigh in)

  2. For players who walkover without opponent in their weight category still have to report for weigh in to show that they are in the weight category.

  3. There will be 3 calls requesting for players (sparring) to report to the registration counter. All players have 3 mins to report from the 1st call. Additionally, there will be a 2 mins
    interval between the 2nd and 3rd call. Any players who have failed to report within this 7mins will be considered as conceding a walk over.

  4. Any player fail to report to the court referee 1 minute after a bout has officially started, that particular player will be considered as walk-over

  5. Keep your nail short and hair must be neatly groomed.

  6. Those who haven't fall within the required weight category by now, you're reminded to do so before the competition day.

  7. Bring along student admission card.
