There is a Basic Exercise Course (BEC) hosted by the Usports (Collaboration with the International Sport Academy) on the 18th, 19th and 25th June, the exam date is on 7th July. The timing are as followed,
18th June from 9.00am to 3.30pm
19th June from 8.30am to 6.00pm
25th June from 1.00pm to 5.00pm
the timing for the exam date 7th July is not confirmed yet.
The BEC is a short course designed specially to arm participants with the basic skills to supervise exercise classes for individuals and groups. Participants will be taught the fundamentals and understanding of exercise and fitness, how to demonstrate proper exercise techniques and how to use fitness equipment. Upon successful completion of the course and examination a certificate will be issued.
In order to get a Fitness Instructor Certificate, a First aid certificate and Basic Exercise Certificate is required and there is a offer price to obtain both First aid and BEC certificate if you go for this course. Brian Sir recommends all NYP and Zen Red belters above to go for this course.
The venue for the course will be announce 2 weeks before the start of the course.
This course is open to Red belts and above, for anyone else who wishes to attend the course please approach Brian Sir. There will be a briefing for this course on this coming Tuesday Training on 10th of May, all Red belts and above do turn up for this training. The closing registration date is on the 13th of May so there is very little time left to register for this event.
